Our Mini Dachshund puppies have finally arrived from Italy (with Emirates airline, of course), after more than one year of waiting, and have been sold! Frasca is our last Mini Dachshund puppy!! Frasca holds ENCI pedigree and comes from north of Rome. The breeder of Frasca is a full-time vet with her own clinic. It goes without saying that Frasca is in perfect health (reconfirmed by Dr Jim Bolssens of Europets) and health of Frasca's parents has been scrupulously taken care of. Miniature Dachshund is a clever, courageous, devoted, lively, playful & occasionally stubborn breed (Wikipedia). Dachshunds come in three sizes: standard, miniature & kaninchen (the last one is not always & everywhere recognized). Our puppies are usually miniature size. Please note, various kennel clubs have established different criterion for Dachshund standards: most use weight for reference & classification, while others define “miniature” through measurement of chest circumference, or even both. Mini Dachshunds also come in three coat types: smooth, long-haired and wire-haired. Smooth Mini Dachshunds have tendencies to be closer to one person than to their entire family (not to say they do not enjoy their complete "pack" wholeheartedly!), they are usually easy going with strangers & happy pups overall. Long-haired Mini Dachshunds are known to be the quietest & complete sweethearts with their families and strangers, lovely and devoted. Wirehaired Mini Dachshunds are the most stubborn, have higher energy levels and thus tend to be naughty.
