Lokobe is our LAST Coton de Tulear puppy, named by the breeder after Lokobe National Park in northwestern Madagascar. We are unlikely to have more Cotons later this year and probably not even next year from this wonderful Italian breeder in Ancona, Italy.
We have been actively searching for Coton de Tulear breeders throughout Italy in the past several years. Lokobe’s breeder is the only registered breeder we have found, who is ethical and meticulous with her dogs and puppies health matters. All her puppies hold ENCI pedigrees and genuinely loved. However, like many respectable breeders, she does not breed her dogs often, and so our Coton de Tulear puppies arrive every one or two years apart. Lokobe holds Italian ENCI pedigree, fully traceable online on ENCI.it. Upon landing in Dubai with Emirates airline, Lokobe was examined by independently practicing vet in Dubai and reconfirmed perfectly healthy (report is available). We have all the puppy's relevant background details, parents photos, all questions can be answered through our WhatsApp 050-4118085. Any question that we do not have immediate answer to will be forwarded directly to the breeder for clarification. A bit of general intro on our Coton de Tulear puppy for sale:
Non-shedding and hypoallergenic Coton de Tulear is rated as trainable, playful, lively, affectionate and intelligent dog breed. Cotons are generally quiet, but can also become vocal when having fun. They are easy to train as they are very eager to please. Cotons are great with kids and other animals. Curiously, Coton de Tulear originates from Madagascar and is the national dog of the island.
The Coton puppies we had sold a few years ago grew into adults, and we enjoy a chance to observe them each time they return to us for grooming. We share our customers comments and our own observations of the breed:
- Very calm and gentle disposition while being groomed.
- Size is quite small and manageable in an apartment. We weighed one of our previously sold one year olds at less than 5 kg.
- Retain a charming puppy look with big eyes and very cute button nose.
- Hair is the highlight of the breed. Soft, silky and totally non-shedding.
- Generally very friendly nature towards other pets, dogs and people (including younger children).
