Sadly, we have seen the puppy mills. They exist everywhere in the world. THE PUPPY MILL CONCEPT IS STRICTLY CONDEMNED IN PETS HABITAT BUSINESS MODULE, and we ensure this through our strict protocols and personal involvement into every step of puppy selection. We speak fluent languages of the countries we import from in order to communicate with breeders directly, simply because most of breeders within EU do not speak English. All our puppies come directly from breeders’ homes, all are fully traceable to the correct breeders’ details, all are home bred and raised within family environment (not in cages and not forgotten in the backyard). All our puppies are taken by the breeders themselves directly to the major airports to be flown by Emirates airline to Dubai on the day of the booked flight. We have successfully eliminated any middle man in between, and thus any element of uncertainty how our animals are sourced, raised, kept, treated and cared for, while most other pet stores still depend and rely on that illusive “supplier”. Think about it: in order to sell anything cheap one must have own manufacturing facility. Some UAE importers and pet stores import up to 30-50 puppies at a time from puppy farms in Eastern Europe and bring them to Dubai, UAE on regular basis. Some breed locally within UAE, creating locally based puppy mills. We continue to prioritise ethics and concentrate on quality, despite the competition to our prices, while ensuring good health and genetic integrity of your puppy. One short interaction with Pets Habitat puppies will demonstrate how exceptionally social and happy they are with humans! The same is not always being true with puppies coming from commercial farm settings, such puppies are generally more reserved, shy, disoriented and may even exhibit signs of aggression towards humans or other animals. Please come to see our pet store, meet our animals, speak to our staff and then compare us with others. You will understand the difference. NORA – English Cocker girl
Nora has just landed in Dubai, flying from Fiumicino (Rome) with Emirates airline. She was bred and raised in Italy, nor far from Naples, Amalfi and Vesuvius.
Nora holds Italian ACI pedigree (original is available at our store with the puppy). She also has her own Italian passport with microchip, vaccinations and treatments.
Upon landing, Nora was thoroughly examined by independently practicing veterinary doctor and reconfirmed perfectly healthy little girl (vet report is available). As always, we have all the background info, both parents photos, the breeder is well known to us, and we have bought her litters previously. Joy holds Italian ENCI pedigree, fully traceable online on ENCI.it. Her both parents had their DNA samples deposited to preserve Coton de Tulear standard of excellence and high quality breed characteristic!
We waited for several years for this Coton de Tulear litter to arrive from Italy!! And finally, Joy and her siblings have landed safely in Dubai, flown directly from Fiumicino airport in Rome by Emirates airline. Joy stayed with her mom (and dad) until 15 weeks of age at the breeder’s home on Adriatic coast in Ancona, Italy. Non-shedding, hypoallergenic Coton de Tulear is rated as trainable, playful, lively, affectionate and intelligent dog breed. Cotons are generally quiet, but can also become vocal when having fun. They are easy to train as they are very eager to please. Cotons are great with kids and other animals. Curiously, Coton de Tulear originates from Madagascar and is the national dog of the island.
The Coton puppies we had sold a few years ago grew into adults, and we enjoy a chance to observe them each time they return to us for grooming. We share our customers comments and our own observations of the breed:
- Very calm and gentle disposition while being groomed.
- Size is quite small and manageable in an apartment. We weighed one of our previously sold one year olds at less than 5 kg.
- Retain a charming puppy look with big eyes and very cute button nose.
- Hair is the highlight of the breed. Soft, silky and totally non-shedding.
- Generally very friendly nature towards other pets, dogs and people (including younger children).

CARLITO – English Cocker boy
Carlito holds Italian ENCI pedigrees, fully traceable online on ENCI.it. Both parents genetic samples were collected, and they were permitted to breed as per ENCI regulations. Both parents photos are available as always.

Carlito comes from the countryside of sunny Abruzzo in Central Italy. Raised within the hills and fields of rural Italy, Carlito is now in Dubai, just flown with Emirates airline from Fiumicino, Italy. PENNY – Yorkie girl
Parents of Penny are very small, mom is just 2kg, dad is even less than 2kg! So we expect Penny to stay small and to grow into unofficial “mini” size Yorkie. Both parents photos are available!

Yorkshire Terrier is hypoallergenic breed, in fact, hair of Yorkie is almost identical to human hair! So Yorkies don’t shed and won’t cause allergies to most people. Confident, courageous, bold, independent and intelligent, these qualities stand very true for any Yorkie! DINA – Lagotto Romagnolo girl
“So easy to train”, “remarkably intelligent”, “family oriented”, “kids best friend” have been our customers comments about our Lagotto dogs. Please google this amazing breed if you are not familiar with Lagotto Romagnolo. The best purebred alternative to Labradoodle or Goldendoodle, medium size Lagotto is considered non-shedding, hypoallergenic and suitable for those with allergy concerns. It is a very popular breed in Italy as a family dog and as avid truffle “hunter”.

The “little lion dog”, as Shih Tzu is affectionately nicknamed, is another example of hypo-allergenic breed, often suggested as alternative breed for individuals with allergies associated with pets. One of the ancient most breeds, Shih Tzu is compact small dog, easily managed in apartment or small villa, requiring less exercise than other breeds of similar size.
