Sadly, we have seen the puppy mills. They exist everywhere in the world. THE PUPPY MILL CONCEPT IS STRICTLY CONDEMNED IN PETS HABITAT BUSINESS MODULE, and we ensure this through our strict protocols and personal involvement into every step of puppy selection. We speak fluent languages of the countries we import from in order to communicate with breeders directly, simply because most of breeders within EU do not speak English. All our puppies come directly from breeders’ homes, all are fully traceable to the correct breeders’ details, all are home bred and raised within family environment (not in cages and not forgotten in the backyard). All our puppies are taken by the breeders themselves directly to the major airports to be flown by Emirates airline to Dubai on the day of the booked flight. We have successfully eliminated any middle man in between, and thus any element of uncertainty how our animals are sourced, raised, kept, treated and cared for, while most other pet stores still depend and rely on that illusive “supplier”. Think about it: in order to sell anything cheap one must have own manufacturing facility. Some UAE importers and pet stores import up to 30-50 puppies at a time from puppy farms in Eastern Europe and bring them to Dubai, UAE on regular basis. Some breed locally within UAE, creating locally based puppy mills. We continue to prioritise ethics and concentrate on quality, despite the competition to our prices, while ensuring good health and genetic integrity of your puppy. One short interaction with Pets Habitat puppies will demonstrate how exceptionally social and happy they are with humans! The same is not always being true with puppies coming from commercial farm settings, such puppies are generally more reserved, shy, disoriented and may even exhibit signs of aggression towards humans or other animals. MAREA – Cocker Spaniel girl
Marea is our last English Cocker Spaniel puppy available out of the litter. She comes from Avellino, Italy, in the valley between the mountains on the outskirts of infamous Vesuvius. Marea has flown to Dubai with Emirates airline direct flight from Fiumicino airport (Rome). She holds ACI pedigree (original is available), her both parents have completed genetic testing.
Upon landing Marea has been thoroughly examined by Dr Jim Bolssens of Europets Hospital and reconfirmed perfectly healthy little puppy (report is available). BRUCE – Lagotto Romagnolo boy
Bruce has just arrived from Italy with Emirates airline. He holds ENCI pedigree, fully traceable online (ENCI.it). Bruce’s parents/grandparents have completed genetic tests (as per the rules of ENCI). Moreover, Bruce’s father has been tested and is negative for dysplasia, and both mom’s parents are negative for dysphasia too. Please google this remarkable breed if you are not familiar with Lagotto Romagnolo. Medium size, Lagotto is considered hypoallergenic and suitable for those with allergy concerns. It is a very popular breed in Italy as a family dog and also for truffle hunting. Our gorgeous black Labrador girl Raven has arrived from Brescia, Italy. She has flown with Emirates airline directly from Malpensa airport (near Milan). Raven holds ENCI pedigree (fully traceable online on ENCI.it), both parents genetic tests have been completed (as per the rules of ENCI), both set of grand parents hip scores are 0 (perfect hips). ROCKY – Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy
Our handsome and shy blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boy Rocky is also our last Cavalier puppy until end of 2021 – 2022… His parents photos are available, and we know the environment he has been raised in. Please read how we do it.
Cavaliers, as well as Bulldogs, Pugs and Shih Tzu, are brachycephalic (=snub-nosed) breeds. Following IATA regulations for all major international airlines, we do not fly and do not encourage flying brachycephalic breeds during hot weather at both destinations due to high risks associated with breathing difficulties for such snub-nosed puppies in warmer weather under restrictions of airports procedures. To put it simply: we don’t want to risk puppy’s life to satisfy some customers demand for snub-nose breed during hot weather season. Therefore, we don’t have brachycephalic breeds during late spring, summer and early autumn in UAE (please read our FAQ Q6).

Photos don’t do Soot justice. Our small black Toy Poodle boy has certain charisma that camera just cannot capture. You have to meet Soot at our store to fall in love with this little furry hypoallergenic creature of a dog! This breed comes in four sizes: standard, medium, miniature and toy (although some Kennel Clubs do not officially recognise “medium” and “toy” sizes). Non-shedding, hypoallergenic and almost odourless, Poodles have minimal to no shedding at all and are on top of the list of breeds suitable for allergy concerns. The owner does not need to invest in a robotic vacuum cleaner trailing this breed, sofas and carpets remain clean – very easy breed to manage indoors in summer (and your house helper won’t quit). As most breed enthusiasts already know, Poodles are keen to learn and love performing tricks!

CHLOE – Cocker Spaniel girl
Our English Cocker Spaniel Chloe comes from the countryside of traditional region of Abruzzo in Central Italy. Raised within the hills and fields of rural Italy, Chloe is now in Dubai, patiently waiting to go home with her chosen family. There is essential fact about Pomeranian puppies that most people are not aware of: Pom puppy begins to shed fur at roughly 4-6 months of age for fully grown adult coat to replace the baby Pom fluff. During this stage between 5 to 9 months of little Pom’s life the puppy may look like an “ugly duckling” with patchy and unevenly shed shorter coat, while cute and fluffy baby fur has been quickly lost already and slowly growing beautiful, thick adult coat has not been fully grown yet. This may not happen to all Poms, but in our experience this happens to many true, authentic Pomeranian puppies.

Full of life Maltese is known as active and responsive little dog, who is not also fearless despite its small size, but at the same time charming, intelligent, loving, gentle and social with children, adults and other pets. These cuddly snow-white creatures are surprisingly low maintenance (aside from daily brushing & bi-monthly salon grooming) and fit perfectly well in an apartment or in a villa. FRASCA – Mini Dachshund girl
Our Mini Dachshund puppies have finally arrived from Italy (with Emirates airline, of course), after more than one year of waiting, and have been sold! Frasca is our last Mini Dachshund puppy!! Frasca holds ENCI pedigree and comes from north of Rome. The breeder of Frasca is a full-time vet with her own clinic. It goes without saying that Frasca is in perfect health (reconfirmed by Dr Jim Bolssens of Europets) and health of Frasca’s parents has been scrupulously taken care of. Miniature Dachshund is a clever, courageous, devoted, lively, playful & occasionally stubborn breed (Wikipedia). Dachshunds come in three sizes: standard, miniature & kaninchen (the last one is not always & everywhere recognized). Our puppies are usually miniature size. Please note, various kennel clubs have established different criterion for Dachshund standards: most use weight for reference & classification, while others define “miniature” through measurement of chest circumference, or even both. Mini Dachshunds also come in three coat types: smooth, long-haired and wire-haired. Smooth Mini Dachshunds have tendencies to be closer to one person than to their entire family (not to say they do not enjoy their complete “pack” wholeheartedly!), they are usually easy going with strangers & happy pups overall. Long-haired Mini Dachshunds are known to be the quietest & complete sweethearts with their families and strangers, lovely and devoted. Wirehaired Mini Dachshunds are the most stubborn, have higher energy levels and thus tend to be naughty.
